Dot’s Pretzels
Initiatives: FS Strategy; Business Development; Distributor Introductions; Sales Support
Objective: Help the fastest growing pretzels in MULO expand faster within Foodservice and other Away From Home channels.
Results:
- In less than 6 months, secured tests and sales commitments at two of the top 3 Foodservice contract management companies, plus other top 20 contractors with revenues of $150 million-$10 billion+.
- Obtained placement in retail and dining divisions at leading self-operated College and University programs with enrollment of 25,000+.
- Opened new profit center in Recreation with introductions at major theme parks and two of the largest campground operators in North America.
- Cultivated partnership with ecommerce platform SnackMagic, offering Dot’s to corporate customers supplying their employees, contractors and clients with snacks and refreshments.
- WCSMS provided business development services both prior and after Dot’s acquisition by the Hershey Company in December 2021.
CAULIPOWER

Objective: Properly position and promote this innovative plant-based brand for Foodservice success.
Results:
- Identified best opportunities for CAULIPOWER’s Foodservice portfolio within this diversified sector and best ways to reach and influence FS buyers in these channels.
- Developed concept and content for a dedicated Foodservice website that aligns CAULIPOWER with operator needs at the front and back of the house, while reflecting its distinctive brand personality.
- Created Foodservice Sell Sheets and Sales Deck with segment specific messaging and menu applications across all dayparts.
- Provided attention-getting, on-premise merchandising that features CAULIPOWER menu items and stimulates more trial.
Alkaline88
Initiatives: FS Strategy; Business Development; Distributor Partnerships; Sales Support; Trade and Consumer-Facing Marketing
Objective: Find Foodservice opportunities for this leading alkaline water brand at the peak of the pandemic.
Results:
- Formulated a Foodservice Strategy that identified more creative, non-traditional opportunities in areas where business was thriving while Covid closures were mandated in others.
- While offices were closed, we forged a partnership with SnackMagic’s ecommerce platform, delivering healthy beverages and snacks to employees working remotely.
- Gyms were shut down, so we targeted health conscious consumers at busy outdoor recreational venues:
North America’s largest campground operator, national parks and some of the finest golf clubs nationwide. - Dining rooms were shuttered, but fast casuals remained open for take-out and delivery. We arranged tests at many of these chains.
- Introduced Alkaline88 to major Foodservice distributors Sysco and Dot Foods, to ensure a reliable supply chain for its national expansion.
Frutta Bowls
Initiatives: National Promotion: Direct Marketing; Social Media; POS Merchandising; Franchisee LSM Guidelines
Objective: Create a systemwide promotion that both generates an additional revenue stream and builds brand image.
Results:
- Launched a Catering program before the pre-pandemic party season (Graduations, Weddings and Summer Holiday gatherings) representing high volume incremental business.
- Designed campaign marketing pieces with evocative lifestyle imagery that make Frutta Bowls the choice of hip, health-conscious Gen Z and Millennials planning parties.
- Delivered integrated support in-store (Brochures, Posters, Countercards), online (eBlasts) and on social media (campaign posts) generating awareness, excitement and more orders.
- Formulated Local Store Marketing guidelines with easy to follow, step by step directions that helped Franchisees build Catering business in their own communities.
Grabbagreen
Initiatives: National Promotion: Social Media Contest; Online Advertising; Direct Marketing; POS Merchandising
Objective: Ensure a successful launch of revitalized new menu at this growing, healthy fast casual chain.
Results:
- Created a highly engaging Facebook contest called “Rap About Our Wraps”, to announce the addition of a new line of tasty wraps at all Grabbagreen stores.
- Guests were invited to submit rap videos showing their love for their favorite new wrap. Prizes included free wraps for a year (Grand Prize) or for a month (weekly winners).
- Facebook Contest was coupled with a trial stimulating promotion offering 99 cent iced tea and soft drinks with the purchase of any new wrap.
- Marketing support included only cost-effective eBlasts, social posts, FB ads and POS merchandising. Proof that it doesn’t take a big budget to make a big impact.
ConAgra Branded Concepts
Initiatives: Concept Development; Trade and Consumer-Facing Marketing; Global Sales; Administration and Operations Oversight
Objective: Develop a high volume sales vehicle for ConAgra brands utilizing proprietary restaurant concepts that rival any Franchisor.
Results:
- Created new Division with 3 signature branded concepts (Asian, Mexican and Italian) featuring ConAgra products.
Handled naming, logo, trade dress and full unit design in multiple configurations (carts, kiosks, inline build-outs and retrofits). - Responsible for strategy and creative development for both trade marketing cultivating Licensees and on-premise marketing boosting traffic, stimulating new trial and repeat orders.
- Hired and trained sales team that placed these branded concepts in over 100 non-traditional locations within colleges, schools, B&I, hospitals, hotels, airports, stadiums, c-stores, military bases and more.
- Provided Licensor system-wide administration including menu planning, staff training, operations support and quality control, nationwide and internationally.
